Tamiya 1/35 Scale British 25Pdr Gun & Ford FGT Model Kit 35044
The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of British armored transporter in 1:35 scale.
One of the most important supporting weapon on the battlefield is artillery. It served very important role in the British Army and played crucial role in both offensive and defensive actions as a direct and indirect fire support. The demand for a gun with such capabilities was satisfied with 25 pounder howitzer, based on 18 pounder gun from before the I World War. 25 could shoot high-explosive, anti-tank, smoke, illuminating and incendiary rounds. It turned out to be a very reliable and effective. Used by the British, Commonwealth and other Allies on all fronts of World War II from Burma through Africa up to Europe. It was also a main gun for self-propelled artillery pieces - Bishop and Sexton.
Tamiya plastic model kit allows assembly of British 25-pounder gun with ammunition trailer and artillery tractor. Box includes 2 hull components of the tractor, 6 sprues, sprues with transparent windows and decals.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
