Genuine Iwata Replacement Part

IWS-7044 — 0.3mm Fluid Nozzle for Revolution M1 (HP-M1) Airbrush

Precision-machined, threaded fluid nozzle. Factory replacement for the Iwata Revolution M1.

Why This Nozzle

OEM Iwata quality — precision-machined, threaded nozzle with factory-correct bore geometry

Optimised for low-pressure atomisation — clean, predictable spray at 20–30 PSI

Restores factory spray pattern — fixes leaks, spitting, and uneven spray from a worn or cracked nozzle

Versatile 0.3mm bore — fine lines through to ~25mm (1") patterns from a single nozzle

Genuine Iwata part — not a generic aftermarket gamble

Product Description

The M3 nozzle (IWS-7044 / I7044) is the original 0.3mm fluid nozzle for the Iwata Revolution M1 (HP-M1) — a gravity-feed, single-action airbrush designed for precise, straightforward spraying.

Together with the matching 0.3mm needle, this nozzle forms part of the M1's R3 head system. The 0.3mm bore delivers a versatile range — from very fine lines up to approximately 25mm (1") wide patterns — with clean atomisation at low pressures (20–30 PSI). This makes it well suited to hobbyists working with smaller compressors.

When a nozzle becomes worn, cracked, or deformed (often by a previously bent needle pressing against the bore wall), even a brand-new needle can't deliver a clean pattern. Replacing the nozzle restores the precise bore geometry your M1 was built around.

Iwata's own M Series manual recommends keeping a spare nozzle on hand for unforeseen accidents — they're small, delicate, and the most common casualty of routine maintenance mishaps.

What's in the Box

1 × Iwata 0.3mm Fluid Nozzle M3 (IWS-7044) in original Iwata packaging.

Compatibility

✔ Direct fit: Iwata Revolution M1 (HP-M1, gravity-feed, single-action)

✘ Does NOT fit: Revolution M2 (0.4mm), Revolution HP-CR, HP-BR, Eclipse, Neo, Hi-Line, Custom Micron, or any other Iwata series

Pairs with: 0.3mm needle for Revolution M1 — for best results, replace both the nozzle and needle together. A worn nozzle can be deformed by a previously bent needle, and vice versa.

Pro Tips — Nozzle Replacement Done Right

Keep a spare. Iwata's own M Series manual recommends having a replacement nozzle ready for unforeseen accidents — it's the part most likely to be damaged during cleaning or maintenance.

Use a proper nozzle wrench. Never use pliers or the basic spanner from the airbrush kit. A dedicated Iwata nozzle wrench reduces the risk of cracking or cross-threading.

Don't overtighten. The nozzle only needs to be snug — finger-tight with a quarter-turn from the wrench. Over-tightening is the most common cause of cracked nozzles.

Replace needle and nozzle together. If your old needle was bent, it likely deformed the nozzle bore. A new nozzle with the old bent needle won't restore a clean pattern.

Don't remove the nozzle unless necessary. Routine cleaning rarely requires it. Only take the nozzle out if it's visibly damaged, irreversibly clogged, or you're replacing it.

Worth Knowing

This nozzle fits the Revolution M1 only. It does not fit the M2 (0.4mm) or any other Iwata model — double-check your airbrush before ordering.

A new nozzle alone won't fix problems caused by a bent needle, worn needle packing, or clogged paint channels — those issues need addressing separately.

0.3mm is a detail-oriented size. For heavy primers and fast coverage on large surfaces, a larger nozzle (0.4–0.5mm) in a different airbrush will be more practical.

Nozzle replacement carries a risk of thread damage if done carelessly. Use the right tool, don't force it, and if you're not confident — consider professional fitting.

Ideal For

Replacing a cracked, worn, or deformed nozzle on your Revolution M1

Restoring factory spray performance after needle damage (replace both together)

Miniature painting, scale modelling, body art, and fine detail work

Keeping a spare on hand — Iwata recommends it, and for good reason
