Green Stuff World Roll Maker Tentacle Tool – Tube & Wire Sculpting Tool
🔩 Green Stuff World – Roll Maker Set
Tube & Wire Machine · Cables · Tentacles · Pipes · 6 Plates + 2 Guides
⚙️ What It Does
A set of textured plastic plates that roll putty into cables, tubes, tentacles, pipes and ropes with consistent, repeatable patterns. Place a sausage of Green Stuff between two plates, roll, and out comes a textured element ready to cure and glue onto your model.
No sculpting skill needed for the texture — the plates do that work for you.
📦 What's in the Set
🛠️ How It Works
1. Mix your putty and roll it into a rough sausage shape.
2. Pick two plates, clip them into the guide bars. Choose your pattern combo.
3. Lay putty on the bottom plate, place the top plate over it.
4. Press down and roll back and forth — the ridges imprint the pattern.
5. Remove, let it cure, glue to your model.
💡 Wet the plates lightly before rolling. For sticky putties like Green Stuff, add a tiny amount of talc to the water.

| Same size, 45° or 90° | Twisted rope, braided hose, bumpy tentacles |

⚠️ Good to Know Before You Buy
🔸 Takes practice. First few attempts will be uneven — that's normal. You'll have it dialled in quickly.
🔸 No metal brushes for cleaning. Wire brushes scratch the ridges permanently. Use a soft toothbrush and water.
🔸 Cable length is limited by plate length. For longer pieces, see the Roll Maker XL.
🔸 Instructions may be minimal. The process is described above — and plenty of video tutorials exist online.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How do I stop putty sticking to the plates?
Wet the plates and your fingers lightly with water. For very sticky putties like Green Stuff, add a small amount of talc to the water.
Can I mix plates from different sizes?
Yes — mixing large + small plates creates organic, irregular patterns perfect for tentacles, roots, and vines.
Is this compatible with the Roll Maker XL?
Yes — all plates and guide bars are cross-compatible between standard and XL sets.
How do I clean the plates?
Soft toothbrush and water. Never use wire brushes or metal tools — they scratch the ridges and ruin the pattern permanently.
