One sheet containing approximately 500 individual micro tufts at 1mm height in a soft, pale teal tone. 💡 Pro Tips from the Community
🔧 Reinforce with CA glue. The self-adhesive backing is fine for display, but for gaming pieces add a drop of superglue under each tuft for a permanent bond.
🎨 Mix with warm tones. Pale teal tufts look most striking when contrasted against warm browns, ochres and rusty earth tones. The temperature contrast makes both the tufts and the base look more realistic.
✨ Fantasy glow effect. Scatter these densely around a light source on a base — a magical crystal, glowing rune, cave mushroom — and they instantly suggest bioluminescent growth without any painting.
🔨 Tweezers are essential. At 1mm these are extremely small. Fine-tipped tweezers make placement accurate and save frustration.
⚠️ Worth Knowing
Not standard grass tufts. At 1mm in pale teal, these do not look like grass. They represent lichen, cold moss, cave flora, or stylised fantasy growth. If you want visible green grass clumps, choose a standard 4mm+ range instead.
Very subtle effect. The whole point is micro-detail. On heavily textured bases the tufts can almost disappear. They work best on relatively clean surfaces — stone, bare earth, flat rock — where the teal colour has contrast to stand out against.
Best as part of a mix. These are a finishing layer, not the only vegetation on a base. Combine with standard tufts, static grass and other scenic materials for the most convincing results.
