The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of French military car in 1:35 scale.
Citroën Traction Avant 11CV is a typical example of a serial car, which also did a career in the military. Designed in 1934, the car had a wide range of innovative solutions. Front-wheel drive, self-supporting body, independent suspension and hydraulic brakes that caused the car brought a breath of freshness to the automotive world. Very good handling characteristics were the reason for the vehicle including an interest in the French army. It served most commonly as a staff car. After the fall of France in 1940, taken over by the Germans, car played the same role, from the sands of Tunisia to the eastern front. Until the end of production in 1957, there were produced more than 750,000 of Citroen 11CV cars.
Tamiya plastic model kit allows assembly of the French car Citroën Traction Avant 11CV with a driver, a soldier of the German Wehrmacht. It consists of body, chassis, sprue with parts, transparent plastic glass sprue and decals (French and German registrations, dashboard).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
