Product overview
A genuine Iwata E3 fluid needle, 0.35mm, for the Eclipse airbrushes built around the E3 head. It is made of spring steel, which resists breakage, and it comes sealed in Iwata's own blister, made in Japan. The needle is one of the three matched parts of the E3 head, together with the nozzle and the nozzle cap, so it belongs with E3 parts only. Iwata Lube, the lubricant supplied with Eclipse airbrushes, is made for exactly this job: a light touch on the needle when you fit it.
Drops straight into the Eclipse BS, CS, SBS and Vault Kustom CS
BCS or SA owners need the E3 nozzle and its cap as well
Blister code I 6172

Notes · Q & A
Common questions
+
What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?
+
0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.
Do I need a compressor with a tank?
+
A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.
How do I keep an airbrush working well?
+
Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
