The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German heavy tank in 1:35 scale.
One of the last attempts to get out of the hopeless situation in which Germany found itself at the end of 1944, was offensive in the Ardennes. They planned to use the latest tanks on a massive scale, including King Tigers. Unfavorable weather condition were difficult for the dominant air aviation of Allies, which prevented effective attacks on the German armoured columns. The problem was, unfortunately, difficult terrain, narrow roads and constant failures of new Tigers. Very often, they blocked the passage, making it impossible to conduct quick action. In addition, the Allies avoided clashing their own tanks with new German armour, by sending against Panzers well armed infantry with bazookas, extremely effective in ambushes.
Tamiya plastic model kit allows assembly of the Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B “King Tiger heavy tank with two versions of the turret (Porsche and Henschel”), 3 soldiers and a motorcycle DKW NZ350. Box includes 2 pieces of hull, a 5 sprues with parts of the tank, 2 sprues with parts of motorcycle, mesh casing of the engine compartment, screw for cannon fastening, rubber tracks and decals.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
