The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of British military car in 1:35 scale.
For the smooth operation of communication, ordnance tasks, transportation, every army has a small military vehicle. Americans had Willis, Germany Kubelwagens, and the British - Tillys (short for Utility Car). Due to the serious deficiencies in equipment, British often processed civilian structures for military purposes. It was no different with the Austin 10 HP car. Modelled on the civilian version of the Tilly vehicle in 1939, it included a crate with tarpaulin and converted to the pickup at the same time. It served in each kind of British troops. Despite the one axle drive, the car proved itself as a great multi-purpose vehicle in the second line. During the war, about 65 thousand of these cars were built, they remained in the service of the British army until the 50’s.
Tamiya plastic model kit allows assembly of the Austin 10HP Light Utility Car and driver. Box includes 2 parts of the body, two sprues, windows, and decals (except for the UK signs allows reconstruction of the vehicle from the Princess Irene Dutch Royal Motorized Infantry Brigade).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
