AK Interactive Pastels Colors Set contains six 3rd Generation acrylic pastel tones for figures, accessories and other subjects requiring a softer colour palette. The shades can be mixed to create gradual transitions between lighter and darker areas. AK states that the paints offer high coverage and adhesion when applied by brush and can be airbrushed when diluted with the dedicated thinner. The complete selection dries to a matt finish.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
