Product overview

Vallejo White Stone is a smooth, finely textured acrylic paste containing marble dust and titanium white. The 200 ml pot produces an opaque white surface that dries rock-hard and can be chiselled and sanded once cured, making it useful both as a terrain texture and as a structural filler. Diluted with water, it works as a mortar wash between brickwork on buildings and walls. At full strength it fills joints, builds low-relief stonework and creates smooth plaster or rendered-wall effects on architectural models.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
