Vallejo Desert Sand 26.217 is a sand-coloured, gritty acrylic texture paste supplied in a 200 ml pot. Part of the Stone Textures range within Vallejo's Diorama FX line, it has a medium viscosity and a light ochre tone suited to reproducing beach and desert ground surfaces on diorama bases. Gravel or sand of different sizes can be added for more realistic effects.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
