Vallejo Dark Earth 26.218 is an acrylic texture paste supplied in a 200 ml pot. Part of the Stone Textures range within Vallejo's Diorama FX line, it has a thick and dense consistency in the colour of humid grounds, suited to reproducing urban and industrial terrain on diorama bases. The dark, earthy tone suggests muddy roads, construction sites and rain-soaked earth.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
