Vallejo Black Lava-Asphalt 26.214 is an acrylic texture paste supplied in a 200 ml pot. Part of the Stone Textures range within Vallejo's Diorama FX line, it has a thick and dense consistency designed for reproducing volcanic grounds, asphalt roads and construction-site surfaces on diorama bases. The dark, granular finish is ready to paint over once dry and can be sculpted or textured with a palette knife while still wet.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
