Vallejo Liquid Metal Silver is an alcohol-based metallic paint for miniatures and scale models, formulated to produce a bright silver finish with a high gloss. It dries quickly and can be mixed with other Liquid Metal colours when a different metallic shade is required.

  • Dilute only with isopropyl alcohol; do not use water.
  • Clean brushes or an airbrush with isopropyl alcohol.
  • Supplied in a 35 ml glass jar with a safety cap.
  • Highly flammable; use in a well-ventilated area.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?
