A water-based polyurethane topcoat that protects finished paintwork with a high-gloss finish. The polyurethane resin forms a harder, more scratch-resistant film than standard acrylic varnish, making it a practical choice for gaming miniatures that see regular handling. The gloss finish intensifies colour saturation and adds depth to metallics and glazes. Can be mixed with the matt or satin varnish from the same range to dial in a custom sheen level.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
