Product overview

Vallejo Plastic Putty is a high-density acrylic filler containing marble dust, supplied in a 20 ml tube. It fills gaps, seam lines and imperfections on plastic, resin and metal models, drying to a white, stone-hard surface that can be sanded, filed and painted over. Water-soluble while wet, it cleans up with water and can be smoothed with a damp brush before it sets. Surface-dry in 10–15 minutes, full cure in one to three days depending on thickness.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
