Vallejo Wild Tuft Light Green SC407 supplies 35 pre-formed grass tufts in a fresh, bright green tone, each 4mm high and classed in Vallejo's Medium size tier. The Light Green shade reproduces young meadow growth, spring vegetation and brighter patches within mixed grassland. Tufts can be placed individually between rocks, along paths or around a miniature's feet, or combined in clusters to form a thicker area of growth.
- The Light Green tone contrasts well with earth-toned bases and darker surrounding foliage.
- Peel each tuft from the backing; optional PVA glue strengthens attachment on uneven surfaces.
- Intended for scale models, terrain boards, figures and diorama builds.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
