Vallejo Black Thick Mud 26.812 is a dense, water-based acrylic texture paste for building substantial dark mud deposits on vehicle surfaces and diorama terrain. Its very dark colour represents peat-like earth rich in vegetal material, particularly ground found in humid woodland and northern European settings. The paste contains permanent pigments and is supplied in a 200 ml pot. Unlike the faster-drying effects in the Weathering FX range, Thick Mud requires an extended period to dry completely.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
