This R/C tool set is great for assembling R/C models and includes medium and large sized screwdrivers (+), a screwdriver (-), 5.5mm and 7mm box wrench, and three hex wrenches of 1.5mm, 2mm, and 2.5mm. Also included is a removable grip which can be connected to each screwdriver. The stand and the transparent cover offer convenient and handy use.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.

How do I keep tools in good condition?

Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
