Specialist blue petroleum jelly for sculptors and modellers, made by Green Stuff World in Spain. The semi-solid, odourless formula lubricates sculpting tools and textured rolling pins so they glide through putty instead of dragging. It smooths fingerprints on partly cured work and conditions crumbled or dried-out putties and polymer clays, restoring their pliability. The blue colour makes it easy to see on tools and surfaces, so you can spot residue before painting.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?
Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
