Scale75 Ice Charm SCPR-004 is a quick-drying, water-based polyurethane surface primer with a matt cold-grey finish. The light-grey undercoat gives transparent Instant Color and contrast-style layers a cooler, slightly darker foundation than Holy Charm's cold white. It can also serve as a general preparatory coat for miniature surfaces and may be applied with either a brush or an airbrush.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
