Scale75 Artists Wuthering Heights is a six-colour smooth acrylic set for painting natural brown materials and earth-toned surfaces. Its palette moves through sienna, umber, wood and dark ochre colours suited to miniature leather, timber and weathering work. The creamy consistency and high coverage support controlled brushwork, while the paints are also suitable for airbrush application. Each colour is supplied in a 17 ml dropper bottle.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?
