Monument Hobbies Pro Acryl PRIME is a 120 ml acrylic primer formulated for both airbrush and brush application. It flows through an airbrush without thinning and cleans up with water, but also works brushed on in two light coats. The finish is matte with strong adhesion, giving subsequent paint layers a surface to grip. Each colour is matched to its standard Pro Acryl counterpart, so the primer doubles as a base-coat tone. Monument Hobbies recommends allowing the primer to cure fully before painting over it.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
