Product overview

MP-05 PRO is DSPIAE's infiltrating colour mixing paper, 50 sheets, which he lists as the alternative to MP-03 PRO among the refills for his MP-01 PRO wet palette. DSPIAE does not publish how the infiltrating sheet differs from the standard one, so we do not describe a difference here. Like every mixing sheet it is meant for one session.

  • 50 sheets of infiltrating colour mixing paper
  • Sold by DSPIAE for the MP-01 PRO
  • Lay shiny side up; replace after each session

Notes · Q & A

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.

How do I keep tools in good condition?

Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
