Series M is Artis Opus's miniature-focused Kolinsky sable line. The brand describes it as "our take on 'Miniature' brushes," with shorter bristles, less flex, and a better fit for detail and precision work or freehand.
Compared with Series S, Series M has a shorter bristle length and narrower belly, so it gives less paint capacity but tighter control and a stiffer feel. That makes it more appropriate for small faces, eyes, trim, line work, and miniature-scale freehand. The brush concept is closer to "compact control" than "large-capacity sable round."
What makes this brush special
Shorter bristles than Series S give a stiffer, more controlled stroke. Less flex means more predictable placement at tiny scales. The same premium Kolinsky sable quality in a more compact format. Ideal companion to Series S — use M for detail passes, S for broader work.
