AK481 Xtreme Metal Polished Aluminium is a 30 ml metallic lacquer intended for thin layers over a dark surface. Its highly reflective finish develops through that restrained build, while the completed surface remains delicate and needs careful handling. The colour is designed to retain a polished metallic character without being buried beneath a heavy application.
- It goes over a dark undercoat such as AK471 Black Base.
- The result it aims at is a mirror effect.
- Heavy weathering is not recommended for the polished surface.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
