Product overview
Weathering resistance is the working property at the centre of AK487 Xtreme Metal Metallic Blue. This metallic blue lacquer is made for scale-model paintwork and remains resistant during later weathering processes. The colour coat therefore continues as the finished metallic layer while the modeller develops the surrounding surface through subsequent stages of the weathering sequence.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
