This mineral thinner is softer and less aggressive than normal White Spirit.

This property makes it great for delicate, soft and subtle blending and is recommended for use with enamel and oil paint.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
