Beige 4 mm Wild tufts offer light, short growth for dry habitats and sparsely vegetated arid ground. They can be distributed lightly where plant cover is limited or used more densely to represent summer-dry prairie and mature cereal fields. Mixing this beige with other dry shades is the preferred route to broader colour variety. Within the four Beige heights we sell — 2, 4, 6 and 12 mm XL — this is the second-shortest.

The Wild sheet carries around 70 tufts, the same approximate count as our 5 mm and 6 mm Wild sheets, delivered here at 4 mm.
A Small sheet of the same beige at 4 mm carries around 144 pieces instead.
You can lift each tuft separately and use it without further preparation.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
