Beige 4 mm Small tufts provide short, light-beige growth for dry terrain with limited plant cover. Their applications range from sparse distribution across arid ground to denser coverage representing a dry summer prairie or mature cereal crop. Combining them with other dry colours is recommended for a wider spread of shades. This 4 mm option sits above 2 mm and below the 6 mm and 12 mm XL Beige sheets in the range we stock.

  • Around 144 tufts come on the Small sheet, matching the highest approximate count we publish.
  • This colour and 4 mm height are also sold in Wild format with around 70 tufts.
  • The individual tufts release separately from the sheet and require no preparation before use.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
