Vallejo Infinity Shasvastii Paint Set combines eight 17 ml acrylic colours selected for painting Shasvastii figures with an exclusive Nox Forward Observer miniature in lead-free white metal and a printed step-by-step guide by Ángel Giráldez. What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
