Vallejo Metal Color Jet Exhaust 77.713 is a dark metallic shade for reproducing jet engine exhaust surfaces on scale aircraft and other models. The 32 ml water-based formula uses aluminium pigments and is designed primarily for airbrush application, while remaining suitable for brush-painted details. Its darker character distinguishes it from the range's aluminium shades and provides a practical base for exhaust components and other dark metal areas.
- Apply directly by airbrush or dilute with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver.
- Recommended air pressure: 15–20 PSI.
- Forms a fast-drying, self-levelling layer.
- Allow 12 hours before applying masking materials.
- Supplied in an eyedropper bottle with a stainless steel stirring ball.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
