Vallejo Olive Green Wash FX 76.519 is a water-based acrylic wash for adding shadows around rivets and recessed details on vehicles finished in Olive Green or faded Pale Green. Its high capillarity draws the colour into panel lines and textured areas, helping separate adjacent details while retaining the underlying finish. The 35 ml wash dries matt and may also be applied evenly as a filter to adjust the base colour.

What is a model wash and when would I use one?
A wash is a very thin, highly pigmented acrylic fluid that flows into recessed detail by capillary action. Apply it over a sealed base coat to add shading around panel lines, rivets and surface texture, or use it as a full-surface filter to shift the overall tone of the model.
Do I need to seal the surface before applying a wash?
