Product overview

Rectangular bases at the small end of the range — 27 sizes from 20 × 15 mm to 75 × 25 mm, plus wider options up to 60 × 50 mm — 3D printed to order in black PETG in the UK. These are rank-and-file sizes: infantry blocks and small units for systems like Kings of War and The 9th Age, and the rectangle footprint is what ranks them up neatly in a movement tray. Medium and large rectangles sit on their own listings.

  • Textured top surface gives primer and glue a mechanical grip.
  • Open underside, with room for magnets or added weight.
  • Printed to order in the UK, in packs from a single base up to 100 depending on size.
  • FDM printing leaves fine layer lines and a Z-seam — normal on printed bases, not defects, and gone under primer.
  • Part of the Open Basing System, so these sizes work with our movement trays, converters and adapters.

Compatible with popular tabletop miniatures; not affiliated with, endorsed by or produced by Games Workshop.

Notes · Q & A

Can I add magnets underneath OBS bases?

Check the selected option's underside opening and available underside depth in Technical Specifications before choosing magnets. Magnet fit depends on the actual cavity dimensions and the magnet you plan to use, so it should not be assumed to be the same across every base.

How do I choose the right base size?

Start with the base footprint required for your model or game, then confirm the selected option against the Technical Specifications. If you are replacing an existing base, measure it carefully and compare its physical footprint before ordering.

How should I use the technical drawing?

Choose your option first, then use the technical drawing and Technical Specifications to check the physical dimensions of the product. When matching an existing part or accessory, use the drawing rather than relying on the product name alone.

Can I rely on the nominal size alone?

No. Products with similar nominal sizes can have different physical dimensions or fit differently across brands and systems. Check the technical drawing, specifications and any product-specific compatibility note before ordering.
