Liquitex Professional Acrylic Ink Carbon Black is a super-fluid black for miniature shading, panel lining, airbrushing and controlled staining. The 30ml glass jar has an integrated pipette for transferring measured drops directly to an airbrush cup or palette. Once dry, the acrylic film has a satin, water-resistant finish.
Single-pigment formulation: PBk7 Carbon Black.
Opacity classification: semi-opaque.
Supplied in a 30ml glass jar with pipette cap.
Liquitex lists the colour's lightfastness as Excellent.
Suitable for brush, airbrush, pen-and-ink and pouring techniques.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
