Product overview
KRMA025 uses 0.5–1.2 mm natural particles, giving miniature bases and terrain a more visibly granular surface than fine sand. The mixed grain size breaks up flat groundwork while still reading as loose grit rather than isolated rocks. It arrives in a natural colour suitable for desert groundwork and can be painted when another soil, rubble or terrain colour is required.
- The container holds at least 150 g of medium basing sand.
- Grain dimensions may occasionally exceed the nominal 0.5–1.2 mm range.
- PVA and Kromlech Super Glues are specified for attachment.
- Packaging is a sturdy plastic pot with a removable twist lid.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
