The Revolution BR is the small-cup member of Iwata's Revolution series, designed to lay down soft, even coverage at low air pressure; with gravity feed and a dual-action trigger, it is a relaxed general-purpose tool rather than a specialist detail brush. Its 0.3mm R3 nozzle sprays from a fine line up to about 25mm, and the 1.5ml cup is sized for small paint loads. The comfort handle is a shape found only on the Revolution series. Run it at 20–30 psi; its needle is spring steel, so it is hard to snap, and the PTFE needle packings stand up to solvents.

Notes · Q & A
What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?+
0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.
Do I need a compressor with a tank?+
A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.
How do I keep an airbrush working well?+
Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
