Green Stuff World Metal Filters are transparent acrylic filters with a metallic interference finish that shifts colour depending on the viewing angle. Apply over flat, metallic or colour-shift base coats to tint them with a polychromatic sheen — the effect is strongest over dark colours, where the interference pigment stands out most clearly. Filters can be mixed together or layered successively to create new metallic combinations. Available in six interference colours and suitable for brush or airbrush application.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
