Light Green 4 mm Small tufts give you a blend of pale green shades for newly emerging grasses and short, light-coloured herbs. They cover several kinds of low-growing prairie, pasture and meadow vegetation. Other tuft heights and colours can be brought into the same project to widen the available mix. This is the lowest of the three Light Green heights we carry: the range continues at 6 mm and then 12 mm XL, while similarly named products outside that sequence are separate colours or product types.

The Small sheet provides around 144 tufts, equal to the highest approximate count published across our sheets.
Our 5 mm and 6 mm Small sheets carry that same approximate figure; this one delivers it at 4 mm.
A Wild version in the same colour and 4 mm height is offered with around 70 tufts.
You can separate the pieces individually, and they require no preparation before use.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
