Black Magic Taro is the dark one: large heart-shaped leaves held above purple-black stems. On the living plant they come up green and deepen towards purple-black with age, and a single sheet carries that whole range at once. Its 65 leaves are printed, coloured and cut before they reach you — take one off and glue it wherever the scene wants it, whether that is a base, a diorama or open terrain.
Colour is what this sheet is for: the foliage runs from green through to a deep purple-black.
The plant behind it is frost-tender, and even the lightest winter frost can kill it.
Sizes differ from leaf to leaf, so a planting can be layered rather than uniform.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
