Dry Tuft 6 mm Wild is a brownish-yellow tuft, made for dry ground where vegetation is scarce rather than for anything green and growing. Semi-desert plains and mountain cliffs are two of the settings it covers, both inside a wider run of dry and arid habitat. It has a second use as well: with other greenish colours alongside it, the same tuft works into dense prairie, steppe and the plant layer under woodland, so one sheet serves bare ground and fuller cover on the same base.
The Wild sheet gives you around 70 tufts, matching the approximate amounts carried by our 4 mm and 5 mm Wild formats.
Dry Tuft 6 mm is also available as a Small product containing around 144 tufts.
The only other height we stock under the Dry Tuft name is the 12 mm Wild XL sheet, which provides around 36 larger pieces.
Individual tufts release separately and can be used in their supplied condition.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
