At 12 mm, Autumn XL sits at the top of the Gamers Grass tuft range: fewer, larger pieces that add vertical structure instead of low ground cover. The pale, dry growth has a greenish base and suits Mediterranean tall grasslands, shrublands and woodland ground layers. Mixed with shorter tufts and other colours, it adds realism and diversity to bases and dioramas without leaving the scenery at one height.

Each sheet carries around 36 extra-large tufts, all differently shaped.
Lift the tufts from the sheet one at a time; they need no preparation before placement.
Gamers Grass recommends tweezers for lifting them, and a little PVA glue where the fix has to be permanent.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
