Product overview
Verdant Ember finishes the five-theme line-up of the first-generation Gaahleri Aventus, a dual-action, gravity-fed airbrush shipped ready for two jobs: fit the 0.2mm setup when you need crisp lines, shading in recesses or tiny detail, then change to 0.4mm when it is time for broad base coats. Three modular body sections are each machined from solid aluminium, with no welded joins, and the grip is shaped to rest in the hand like a pen.
- Fine setup: 0.2mm nozzle with its own cap
- Coverage setup: 0.4mm nozzle, matching cap and the needle
- Gravity cups in two sizes, 1/10 oz and 1/5 oz, with an Ultra Mirror-Level finish
- Patent-pending Vortex nozzle for finer atomisation at lower pressure
- Two air caps (360 Quick-Fit and wide round) and a male quick-disconnect
Notes · Q & A
What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?
0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.
Do I need a compressor with a tank?
A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.
How do I keep an airbrush working well?
Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
