Product overview

This box holds thirty hard plastic US paratroopers in the green M-1943 uniform of the late war. The US Airborne divisions, the 101st 'Screaming Eagles' and the 82nd 'All American' among them, were blooded in Sicily in 1943 and jumped on D-Day before being pulled back to rest and refit. Issued the new M-1943 uniform, which the US brought in to simplify supply, they dropped into Holland for Operation Market Garden alongside British and Polish airborne troops, and in 1945 went into Germany across the Rhine during Operations Varsity and Plunder. The frames carry their fighting kit down to pouches, knives and even a carrier pigeon.

M1 Garands, Thompsons, M1 carbines and BARs
Browning pistol, grenades, machete and a .30 cal MMG
