AK Interactive Real Colors WWII US Aircraft Interior Colors contains six lacquer paints for cockpits and other internal surfaces on Army Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps aircraft. The selection covers bronze green, zinc chromate and interior green finishes used across different manufacturers and production periods, together with an Aluminium shade for unpainted or metallic interior areas.

  • Set contains (6 × 17 ml): RC931 Bronze Green, RC930 Zinc Chromate Yellow, RC929 US Interior Yellow Green, RC902 Dull Dark Green (FS 34092), RC906 Interior Green (FS 34151), RC920 Aluminium
  • The five interior colours are matt; RC920 Aluminium is the metallic member
  • Lacquer-based Real Colors, ready for weathering; formulated for controlled airbrush application
  • Thin with RC701 or RC702 (or another lacquer-based thinner)

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?
