Product overview

AK8057 is a reusable cutting surface for producing paint masks in repeatable geometric layouts. Its laser-carved face combines concentric circles, numbered radial divisions, rectangular grids and corner crosshairs, giving the modeller fixed references while positioning and cutting masking material. The orange Type 2 board measures 21.5 × 11.5 cm and is 0.4 cm thick.

The surface is designed for repeated use.
Laser-carved markings remain permanently available as cutting guides.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
