Brown Streaking Grime for Red Hulls is a 35 ml Naval Series enamel, a brown grime for the dirty vertical streaks that weep down a ship’s hull over red-primer paint. It works just as well on tank hulls and other military vehicles. Lay in a few uneven vertical lines with the point of a fine brush, give them roughly ten minutes, and then pull a clean flat brush, wetted with White Spirit, downwards through them until the streaks blur into grimy, run-down staining.
- Naval Series enamel grime for vertical dirt streaks down red-primer ship hulls.
- Also works on tank hulls and other military subjects.
- Draw the vertical lines with a fine brush, wait about ten minutes, then blend them down using a flat brush wetted in White Spirit.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
