Product overview
This drop-in converter lets a miniature already mounted on a 25mm round base use a larger 28mm round footprint without removing or modifying the model. Press the existing base into the adapter and lift it out again when needed. The part is injection-moulded in ABS with a fine textured upper surface designed to match the rest of the Open Basing System range.
No rebasing, glue or magnets required.
Removable and reusable across different models.
Snap-fit frame holds the existing base within the larger footprint.

Can a converter change my base footprint without rebasing?+
OBS converters are designed to adapt an existing base where the selected conversion route fits that original footprint. Fit is route-specific, so confirm the selected option and technical drawing before ordering. Check Technical Specifications where added height matters.
How do I choose the correct converter?+
Start with the footprint you already have, then select the target footprint you need. Compare both the accepted inner fit and the outer footprint with the technical drawing; matching nominal labels alone is not enough.
How should I use the technical drawing?+
Choose your option first, then use the technical drawing and Technical Specifications to check the physical dimensions of the product. When matching an existing part or accessory, use the drawing rather than relying on the product name alone.
Can I rely on the nominal size alone?+
No. Products with similar nominal sizes can have different physical dimensions or fit differently across brands and systems. Check the technical drawing, specifications and any product-specific compatibility note before ordering.

Exactly what I needed
Perfect size to upscale oldhammer minis to current base sizes, the quality is really good too, very sturdy. I've opted to fix the old bases directly to these converters rather than keeping them removable, a little technical paint over the full base easily covers the small gap which is left between the two elements.

Perfect product to fit this niche
High quality and as described. Was expected some cheap FDM printed pieces but this is nice, smooth, quality plastic. Matches the GW bases I have perfectly. Overall exactly as I had hoped meaning I do not need to cut off my old bases and can swap between base sizes depending on what my models represent in games.
