Product overview

These rectangular movement trays keep cavalry, mounted figures, monsters and other rectangular-based models together as a single unit for rank-and-file play. Existing miniatures remain on their current bases and are placed into the tray's open rectangular positions, so no rebasing or permanent attachment is required. The range covers bases from 50 × 25 mm through to 100 × 60 mm, with standard ranked formations and selected lance layouts available. Each option represents one tray configured for the stated base size and formation.

  • Options cover 50 × 25, 60 × 30, 60 × 40, 75 × 50, 100 × 50 and 100 × 60 mm rectangular bases.
  • Choose by the base size and formation stated in the option; measured seat and tray dimensions are shown in the specification table wherever that option's drawing supplies them.
  • Standard grid formations are joined by selected lance arrangements for units that use a tapered layout.
  • Printed to order in PLA as part of the OBS Open Basing System range.
  • Fine layer lines and a Z-seam are normal features of FDM-printed parts, not defects, and become unobtrusive after priming.

What does a formation such as 7 × 5 mean

It means seven positions wide and five positions deep, for a total of 35 positions. Always confirm the listed base fit as the same formation can be available for different base formats.

How do I choose the right movement tray

Match the tray to the shape and size of the bases you are using, then choose the formation you need. Check the selected product's drawing and specifications for base fit and overall tray footprint; do not choose by model count alon

How should I use the technical drawing?

Choose your option first, then use the technical drawing and Technical Specifications to check the physical dimensions of the product. When matching an existing part or accessory, use the drawing rather than relying on the product name alone.
