Genuine Iwata Replacement Part

IWN-0803 — Nozzle (N3) 0.35mm with O-Ring for Neo TRN1 Trigger Airbrush

Precision-machined fluid nozzle with factory-fitted o-ring. Factory replacement for the Neo for Iwata TRN1.

Why This Nozzle

OEM Iwata quality — precision-machined nozzle with factory-correct bore geometry

O-ring pre-fitted — no fiddly seal installation, ready to fit straight out of the pack

Optimised for low-pressure atomisation — part of the Neo design that delivers quality spray at just 15–25 PSI

Versatile 0.35mm bore — fine lines from ~0.3mm through to ~25mm (1") patterns from a single nozzle

Genuine Iwata part — not a generic aftermarket gamble

Product Description

The N3 nozzle (IWN-0803 / N0803) is the original 0.35mm fluid nozzle for the Neo for Iwata TRN1 — a gravity-feed, pistol-trigger airbrush designed for comfortable, detailed spraying with trigger-style control. It comes with the o-ring already factory-fitted, ready to install.

Together with the N3 needle (IWN-0753), this nozzle forms the heart of the TRN1's spray system — shaping the paint stream, controlling atomisation, and determining your spray pattern. The 0.35mm bore delivers a versatile range from fine lines (~0.3mm) to medium coverage patterns (~25mm/1"), making the TRN1 a genuine all-rounder for hobby work.

Iwata designed the Neo nozzle system specifically for quality atomisation at low air pressures — a real advantage for hobbyists running smaller compressors. When the nozzle becomes worn, cracked, or deformed (often by a previously bent needle), even a brand-new needle can't deliver a clean pattern. Replacing the nozzle restores the precise bore geometry your TRN1 was built around.

The included o-ring seals the nozzle to the airbrush body, preventing air and paint leaks at the head. Buying the nozzle with the o-ring pre-fitted avoids the notoriously fiddly task of seating a tiny seal yourself — a process that risks damaging both parts.

What's in the Box

1 × Iwata N3 Fluid Nozzle 0.35mm with factory-fitted o-ring (IWN-0803) in original Iwata packaging.

Compatibility

✔ Direct fit: Neo for Iwata TRN1 (gravity-feed, pistol-trigger airbrush)

🔄 Conversion fit: Neo for Iwata TRN2 (side-feed) — requires additional N3 needle (IWN-0753), N3 head base, and N3 nozzle cap

✘ Does NOT fit: Neo CN, Neo BCN, Eclipse, Revolution, Hi-Line, Custom Micron, or any other Iwata series

Pairs with: N3 Needle 0.35mm (IWN-0753) — for best results, replace both the nozzle and needle together. A worn nozzle can be deformed by a previously bent needle, and vice versa.

Pro Tips — Nozzle Replacement Done Right

Use a proper nozzle wrench. Never use pliers or the basic spanner from the airbrush kit. A dedicated Iwata nozzle wrench reduces the risk of cracking or cross-threading.

Don't overtighten. The nozzle only needs to be snug — finger-tight with a quarter-turn from the wrench. Over-tightening is one of the most common causes of cracked nozzles.

Replace needle and nozzle together. If your old needle was bent, it likely deformed the nozzle bore into an oval shape. A new nozzle with the old bent needle won't give you a clean pattern.

Don't remove the nozzle unless necessary. Routine cleaning rarely requires nozzle removal. Only take it out if it's visibly damaged, irreversibly clogged, or you're replacing it.

Never push anything into the nozzle from the front. No pins, no wire, no brushes forced through the bore. Clean from the back only — or soak the entire head assembly in airbrush cleaner.

Worth Knowing

This nozzle is designed for the Neo TRN1. It does not drop into the Neo CN, Neo BCN, or other Iwata series — double-check your airbrush model before ordering.

A new nozzle alone won't fix problems caused by a bent needle, worn needle packing, or clogged paint channels — those issues need addressing separately.

Nozzle replacement requires care and the right tool. If you're not confident working with small, delicate airbrush parts, consider having it fitted by an experienced user or service centre.

0.35mm is a versatile all-round size, but for pure coverage tasks (priming large surfaces, heavy primers) a 0.5mm (N5) setup will be faster and less prone to clogging.

Ideal For

Replacing a cracked, worn, or deformed nozzle on your Neo TRN1

Restoring factory spray performance after needle damage (replace both together)

Converting a Neo TRN2 from 0.5mm to a finer 0.35mm detail setup

Keeping a spare on hand — nozzles are fragile and easily damaged during maintenance
